The Master Potter
ARTIST STATEMENT:
Many of the feelings and convictions that guide my life are reflected in my work. I have Native American Heritage, therefore a philosophy of respect and appreciation of the world around me: people, animals, plants, and the earth.
My works are created around particular forms of a sphere; the never-ending circle of which life and all we do revolves.
As a graduate of Chouinard Art Institute, a Master from Illinois State University, my training in cartooning, animation, industrial design, and ceramics, combined with a love of early man and his art, have contributed to my direction and techiques in clay as a medium of expression.
